Doesn't RecommendNegative OutlookI have been working at DMi full-time for more than 5 years
Pros
Having worked on previous contracts with DMI, I do not think the company itself is bad, but the most recent contract was a complete mess. There seem to be better moral events and inclusion for those employed with the corporate office rather than offsite contracts.
Cons
Contract was completely mismanaged. Just 6 months into the contract, 30 people were laid off with no warning due to 'budget issues'. Given the increasing staffing shortages from skilled employees leaving due to other mismanagement issues, you wouldn't have thought that more qualified and competent staff would be dropped instead of new hires or temporary staff.
Advice to Management
Hire better contract management. Do more to retain qualified and skilled employees. When your staff has to watch 30 of their coworkers and friends get walked out the door out of nowhere, you may want to have some sort of briefing rather than leaving everyone confused and scared for who is next since job performance reviews played no part in the decision making. Sometimes, maybe you need to cut into the profit... margins.

Pros
Awesome Program Management and support from local leadership. DMi leadership provides multiple opportunities throughout the year to get together for fun team building events and parties.
Cons
The only downside is that the company got so big that they are unable to re-compete for certain government contracts.
