Dear Former Employee, We really appreciate your years of service to DWFritz. It is true that occasionally working outside of normal hours may be necessary to get the job done - we are in the world of advanced manufacturing after all. However, our resource planning is conducted with 40 hour work weeks in mind, and our agile staffing model allows us to quickly bring in new employees and contingency resources as we have long-term and short-term increases in volume. We continue to make strides ensuring a work/life balance for our employees, both in our work processes and our employee programs, but we do acknowledge that our rapid growth came before we were able to get some of these things in place. Dear Former Employee, First, allow us to apologize for our late response to your feedback. As you may be aware, DWFritz has undergone quite a few changes over the past few years and we are confident that you would find that we have evolved significantly as a company. For many years DWFritz was a small, job-shop and within the last three years, we have taken our company to new heights, with a focus on world-class practices and a values-driven culture. Our concerted efforts in these areas have actually resulted in a high level of employee retention, even as we’ve gone through tremendous change and growth. Our turn-over rate in 2016 was 12.28% compared to a nation-wide average of 16.7%. We would like to reduce this even further, and we take measures to survey all of our employees twice a year, and then acting on the feedback we receive. We heard your concerns and we took decisive action to make sure DWFritz is a comfortable and safe place to work for all of our employees no matter their gender or orientation.
