Pros

There is no such thing in this company. Maybe your coordinator but that might change in a week, if that. Yes you are trained, but so can a dog!

Cons

Too bad there is a 20 word minimum cause I could right a book series of the cons of this company. 1. You use your own car --If anything happens to your car, Delta goes through the cheapest way possible to repair it ( your own car insurance) --they should at least give the staff some compensation for their client damaging a staff's car. --You could be driving from one side of the state to the other and only get reimbursed for maybe half of what you truly deserve. --Your car goes through wear and tear and the company doesn't care. 2. Extremely violent clients --if you're placed in a calm house that's fine, you are very luck, but if you're placed in a behavior house then you are putting your life at risk every time you enter the house. Get the best life insurance because you will need it. Brocken bones, bites, toilet tank covers thrown at you, destroyed ligaments, and concussions are just the tip of the iceberg. 3. Coworkers -- Your coworkers are nothing but backstabbing two faced losers who only come to this company to get the little pocket change that they make --They sleep on the job, they do the minimum of work, they rat you out as fast as they can, and they sleep with each other so you have soap opera drama swirling around while you're working, some of them are even alcoholics who are caught so many times and given so many chances, they steal from the petty cash and no one does anything about it. 4. Office --You don't get the supplies you need, whether it's cleaning supplies or office supplies and the cleaning supplies you do get are the cheapest so you might as well clean the house with your own spit. --They have the clients cleaning the office so things might be clean and sanitary up there if the clients who cleaned it where the ones that actually cared about what they were doing. 5. Pay --Like I said earlier, it's pocket change and you'd be better off becoming anything else 6. Housing --They don't keep up the houses --You are lucky if your driveway gets shoveled but be very careful cause it could be icy and you could slip and be on workers comp forever.

Pros

Delta Projects has really good and dedicated staff that work in the houses as well as in the office. The staff members support of one other is the best thing about working at Delta. It is also extremely rewarding working with the individuals whom we serve. Though the job is challenging at times, making a difference in their lives makes it all worth while.

Cons

There are unfortunately many downsides to working at this agency. The lack of respect and common courtesy from upper management has to be number one. The disciplinary process is also one of utter unfairness. Some staff are reprimanded, suspended and even fired for things that other staff do and have done for years yet continue to be employed here. There is a lack of leadership from the CEO that not only creates resentment among the employees but it also ends up affecting the managers below her and those managers below them. There are no clear cut systems in place which leads to confusion and chaos. There is a poor understanding of what the rules are and who you are supposed to report to and when. The CEO's need to have total control and her micromanagement of all of those around her leads to a destructive work environment. She has the only real say in what goes on here and her lack of confidence in those whom she has hired to be managers ends up leading to anger, then hopelessness and in the end lying and fraudulent behavior in order to survive. On a financial note, we are not paid time and one half for hours worked over 40. We get no holiday pay, our earned and sick time have been cut, we get no shift differential and though our pay is not horrible, for some of the dangerous clients that we serve, is definately not enough.

Pros

The staff, most are great people. It can be rewarding working with the clients.

Cons

Upper management is the worst. They do not care about staff. They try to micro manage and discipline people unjustly. They have no loyalty to long term Employees. Constant revolving door of coordinators and staff. There is alot I can say is wrong and bad but I don't have enough space here to write.
