      Pros

      Passionate people, great space, amazing founder/leader in Amy Goodman (and Juan Gonzalez). Committed to living their values/beliefs and generally welcoming to their interns and new team members.

      Cons

      More educational outreach opportunities to be had--still in the nascent stages on this. Internship program could use someone to fully coordinate it and ensure that the organization can unify that group as a dynamic, creative force.

      Pros

      I had a fellowship at Democracy Now! That was probably a little different than normal because of the pandemic/remote situation, but was still overall a good experience. Really liked my manager and team.

      Cons

      Roles are sometimes not clear - seems like everyone does everything. I was asked in the interview about a lot of experience that wasn’t used in the actual fellowship.
