Pros

Good clients and many lovely people to work with.

Cons

Culture They like to talk a lot about inclusion or diversity or positive change, but the truth is that the entire staff is not prepared to embrace it. People with different backgrounds are unheard and not valued, whereas people who progress are the ones who get on with the big cheeses. Usually very noisy, untalented, possibly with an active Instagram page. Process/Design thinking Old-school packaging approach. Here good design is all about 'great ideas', but sadly senior leadership is too blind to see the thin line between clever ideas and human intuition, which very often leads the projects to mediocre outcomes. Other - Daily fake smiles in a very competitive and unsupportive environment. - No HONEST feedback or guidance from mentors. - Long hours and terrible work/life balance - Benefits below the average Far from being the 'Best design agency in London...', so they say. The historical Clerkenwell office is on its way down and has now been greatly exceeded by all the other Design Bridge venues around the world.

Pros

Clerkenwell office nice, best thing about is good lunch options nearby, although moving soon to faceless WWP building

Cons

Where to start? No culture, like a machine, going through a merger which is total shambles. Lots of toxic people with big egos. Worst company I’ve worked for, some nice people but feels like a call centre with very boring packaging projects. No benefits other than free manky fruit. Avoid if you want to have good mental health.

Disappointing experience

Pros

It's one of those monsters that look good on your CV but experience-wise is a very disappointing agency. They invest a lot in team-bonding activities pushing introverted people to neurotic break. Mentality - smile, smile, smile and do what we tell you because your ideas don't matter. If you do everything as they told and don't show any initiative you are going to sit there forever and be a director of something.

Cons

Boring demotivating projects (to redesign another cigarette package, and another and another). A lot of % of all projects are from the tobacco industry which they don't even include in their portfolio. They try to be innovative and designy but it's an average boring agency which is doing packaging design. A+ students environment where everyone is competing with each other. Thinking outside of the box is encouraged (on words) but in reality it is strictly forbidden or impossible because it's again cigarette packaging, wua! In general a lot of promises but in reality it is the most boring agency with mediocre projects.
