      An interesting experience

      Pros

      It was quite a friendly environment - with junior staff being very keen to help others. Some of the partners were also very supportive.

      Cons

      The work was not of the quality that I was used to. HR were a nightmare to deal with, and if you have anything that needs to be sorted from a HR perspective - then watch everything they do!

      Stepping stone into the City

      City firm, close to Liverpool Street

      Cons

      People are not valued (and, at times, are treated terribly) - Devonshires knows people use it as a stepping stone into the City and this is reflected in how it treats its employees and the time and energy (or lack thereof) it puts into development and enabling people to produce quality work. Anyone with any ambition quickly realises this and moves on.

      Pros

      Close to Liverpool Street station. Nothing more.

      Cons

      Extremely unprofessional. The way they treat their staff is disgusting and they do not care about you as an individual. I regret wasting my time and putting in so much effort in a job where you don’t get respected at all. Salary is awful and you will get nothing but disappointment working here.
