Pros

Any place you work after will seem like paradise compared to this hellhole

Cons

Deeply unsafe environment, sexual harassement, sexual assault cases, after work events with way too much free alcohol, poor management. The company is run like a fraternity. Management style is based on pressure and public humiliation. Avoid at all costs.

Pros

A fantastic team ethic and support for new and existing members of staff despite the fact that many staff work remotely from countries with no office facilities. There is a clear understanding amongst employees of what the company stands for a what high achievement looks like. I have been well supported since starting with Meero and would recommend joining the team to anyone given the opportunity.

Cons

A very small negative but the accommodation and food budget in major cities (ie. Paris, London) could be a little higher. It can be challenging to stay within the stipulated amounts so have to cover costs myself sometimes when travelling.

Hello, Thank you for sharing your positive experience at Meero. We’re delighted to hear that you value the team spirit and support provided to both new and existing team members, regardless of their location. Creating a strong sense of purpose and high standards across the company is something we deeply care about, and it’s great to see that reflected in your feedback. Regarding your feedback on the travel budgets, we understand that major cities like Paris and London can present unique challenges. That said, we believe the allocated budgets are designed to remain reasonable while balancing the financial sustainability of the company. However, we’re always open to reviewing our policies as part of our commitment to supporting our teams effectively. Thank you for your dedication and for recommending Meero as a workplace. Best regards, The Meero team

Pros

The working environment is what you make of it, I was lucky to work with some great colleagues, french wasn't extremely necessary, a plus if you can't be bothered with it. You will be relieved when you leave but working at meero will open doors for you if you play your cards right. This is mainly due to the aggressive branding that they have going on for themselves.

Cons

You might end up with condescending managers, people who are really good with numbers but unfortunately not good with people, let alone people from different cultures than their own. Speaking of culture, there is a culture of lying, omission and tricking (employees, clients, photographers, whatever gets the job done). As an employee, you are not paid to think, your input is not valued. They have hired "experienced managers" for that. If you are at the bottom of the food chain, you pay for your superiors mistakes always. Your chances of progressing within the company are really slim if you are not French. If you need a visa to stay in France, you are not in a position of power and they will strongarm you and string you along on the promise of a permanent contract. Human resources is a nightmare, you can never get the information you need and are usually told to seek out third parties when actually, it is part of their job description. This is with the exception of the hiring manager who is a decent person. The salary most of the time is not in accordance with what you have to do and what is expected of you. Essentially the pay is a joke. Working hours are also a joke. Mainly because it is frowned upon to leave on time, and yet extra hours are not remunerated appropriately as they should.

We are sorry that your experience did not happened as you could have wished. The whole management team works every day to improve the way we support our employees. Many things have already been established in that sense: all staff meetings with Q&A, management reviews, performance reviews, and even salary reviews. We understand that not everybody is satisfied with their salaries, that is why we are completely transparent about it during the recruitment process, as well as job tasks. The management team (human resources in particular) also remains available to support employees in their administrative procedures and questions. That is an absolute priority for us.
