    Pros

    I have worked for Discover for 20+ years. They have an excellent culture, and stick to the motto "Do the right thing". Throughout my tenure they have shown time and time again how they care for their employees. I would highly recommend working for this company.

    Initial pays is decent .

    Cons

    Toxic work culture. Dominated by people in the USA. Would have to work in the USA timezone. No annual increment. No brand value in the UK. Laid off people last year. No work life balance Frequent re organization.

    They need to focus or rewarding people for merit and years of service and pay employees what they are worth rather than what they can get away with.

    Global company but with the advantages of small company where most people know each other in the UK.

    Cons

    Senior leadership (based in Chicago) can be very US centric. Also, in a period of transformation so employees must be comfortable with such.
