Pros

Literally none. There are no pros whatsoever.

Cons

They'll front and be nice to you initially, but don't expect that to last. The old white owner doesn't give a damn about your personal life. He sees you as an employee and nothing else. If you break your leg, go into labor or your father dies, he'll expect you to still show up for your 5am shift. Not to mention as an hourly counter service person you're expected to come in early, and stay late - but you still have to clock in and out for your scheduled hours - while the manager will take sleeping breaks on paid time.

Pros

I guess the food is good

Cons

Managers don't care. There wasn't an even division of labor between first and second shift, so closers had to finish all the prep, stay on the line AND clean. Closing managers do their best, but at some point you just give up.

Pros

You get to be alone

Cons

The pay is not up to par with all of the work you have to do. Most of my immediate coworkers never cleaned anything, and my shifts were 9 hours where I was doing tasks the entire time, so I would never have the energy to clean much after my shift. The kitchen ends up absolutely disgusting. My first week I worked 49 hours with maybe two total breaks. You don’t even get the satisfaction of knowing you made anything because most everything is mixes. The management DOES NOT communicate anything to you or anyone else, so you are left to your own devices when you need help with payroll or scheduling.
