Lack of employee retention: The company struggled to retain talented employees, leading to a constant turnover and loss of valuable expertise. Limited growth opportunities: DoControl failed to provide clear career paths or opportunities for advancement, resulting in employee stagnation and reduced motivation. Callous treatment of departing employees: Employees were terminated without warning or justifiable cause, and the severance packages offered were inadequate, leaving individuals feeling disrespected. Unappreciative of loyalty: Despite employees' dedication and loyalty, their efforts often went unnoticed and unappreciated, fostering a sense of disillusionment among the workforce. Reactive leadership: Leadership at DoControl was reactive rather than proactive, leading to the repeated application of temporary solutions rather than addressing root issues. Lack of constructive feedback and recognition: Employees received minimal constructive feedback and were rarely rewarded for their successes, creating a demotivating work environment. Non-competitive salary: I found out two months into my employment that everyone else was getting paid more than me. Furthermore, my bonus was restructured without my full understanding and therefore consent. I was forced to sign papers that were not explained to me and ultimately left my salary thousands of dollars lower than in original negotiations. Little to no diversity: A vast majority of the employees are white men.
