Pros

Use of continuous improvement that has made indisputable contributions to the health of the business. Quite interesting work if you can see past the downsides.

Cons

Much of all the stuff they say about respect and trust etc to employees is a veneer for the still-present bullying and confrontational management regime that harks back to Tokheim Europe/Schlumberger RPS days (the two previous incarnations of the company). If you are not comfortable with bullying or badgering other people to get ahead, apply elsewhere. CI is great but there is too much doing it for the sheer hell of doing it. There is also a culture of "hire and fire" , with most new employees coming in as contractors to begin with so that they can easily be fired if they don't shape up. I've seen many potentially good people walk out because they couldn't handle the way they were being spoken to. Unreasonable demands made on people who are just in the door with very little training or development.

Pros

Good tech with a Microsoft partnership

Cons

Poor project management, along with a toxic working environment. Staff are expected to work unsustainable amounts with no reward for this. Expectations of the engineers are unrealistic and significant issues raised by engineers are hidden from stakeholders. There is an ongoing issue with staff retention leading to a lack of expertise and knowledge on the products being developed

Pros

Good pay if you suck up to the right people

Cons

Bullying by OSMs they send emails to analysts and their team talking bad about you All the managers meet together for pay rises if they don’t like you as a person you don’t get a pay rise No work life balance You are picked on and punished for being signed off with mental health issues. Even though they train people to be a mental health first aider Bullied into working weekends, told you won’t hit your target and will have a disciplinary if you don’t score on tests well. Training after a poor score doesn’t help and you are left on your own
