      Total lack of leadership with Moral low

      Pros

      You can easily avoid working hard Management backs down when confronted

      Cons

      no leadership, treat workforce as if they don't matter. No control from above, lack of involving the workforce. Moral is rock bottom , with nearly 40 key people leaving this year Everyone moaning about the 'leadership team' not leading and giving direction and focus. Don't understand the quality of the work force and thier loyalty

      This is a hard one, i would have to say the best pro about working at this place is going home, but that would be unfair, when dresser-rand acquired Peter Brotherhood Ltd it acquired a team who's morale was high, they have knocked the stuffing out of that but the people remain the only pro for this company

      Cons

      Management are the con in this company, they honestly do not have a clue about the people who work in PTR, their strengths weakness etc. they have their favoured few and thats it.....upcoming project is called IGT they have in their employee in PTR 3-4 people who are trained in this, have they consulted any of them NO...the favouvered few have been asked to run with it.

      The paid well and the overall compensation package was good

      Cons

      Never in all my days in industry have I experienced such a company that allows its senior managers to conduct themselves in such a manner and deliberately lie and try to undermine other managers..... very nasty culture. The HR division are nothing short of shocking and knowingly overlook these actions by others and bury their heads in the sand. There is a deep vein dishonesty within this company that will be their undoing
