Everything. Culture. Management. Operations. Benefits. I worked there for 3 years and in the beginning was okay but it started to decline when new management started to take over. They have no regards to keeping their employees; to them we are replaceable and good employees take their skill set elsewhere where they’re valued and respected. If you make a mistake, they want your head on a stake by any means necessary so that the management doesn’t lose their job. As stated in the title, turn around if youre not a recent college grad. This is a horrible work environment with a pool table and some games that provide a facade to attract employees.

The CIO is way in over his head. He obviously has connections at the top because he has zero social skills and holds only a BS in compsci from '94, but still thinks he's the best around. And he will literally tell you that. If you like to be berated and work in an atmosphere that promotes, as others have said, schoolyard behavior, and likes to churn and burn through people to keep salaries low, then give Dycom a try. If you have any self respect and want to work for a manager that respects you, stay far away. Believe me.
