Pros

Great people to work with... just not for. Coworkers shared same sentiments

Cons

Original signed contract from 2014 promised annual reviews with a guaranteed raise. Fast forward almost two years, they "lost" my contract and threatened termination of a modified new contract with added non-compete wasn't signed.

Thanks for your feedback. We are glad to hear you feel good about working with us. As far as working for us, other than in extremely rare situations and only with the most senior people, E2 Optics does not ask employees to sign employment agreements. As a Technician, there would have been no contract or employment agreement to lose. We, therefore, are completely confused as to the “contract” to which you refer. We do ask all employees (and have recently expanded this to include contractors working with us through staffing agencies) to sign standard non-disclosure/non-solicitation agreements. As with the regular review of our various practices and policies, we have recently updated these agreements. Just like we ask employees to sign new Employee Handbook acknowledgments each time the Handbook is revised, we are requesting employees do the same with the latest NDA/NSA. Generally, employees receive a formal performance appraisal at least once annually. As noted in other Glassdoor responses, some teams are already receiving feedback sessions as frequently as quarterly. The Ashburn team, of which you were a part, conducted appraisals in the fourth quarter of 2015 and again in 2016. We can only assume you received feedback during those times. We are not in the practice of guaranteeing raises or promotions. Naturally, those activities occur in alignment with performance, team efforts and dependability, and, in the case of promotions, business need. We are sorry if there was some misunderstanding, and wish you the best.

Pros

The only pro is the pay check never bounced

Cons

Poor management . they treat all their employees like slaves. And be little every employee and talk down to you. Very disorganized. They take on jobs the can't finish . they falsify tests/ duplicate them to make systems pass. I've here for quite some time and they can't keep a crew because how they treat people. Their safety guy is joke and makes things so safe it's unsafe.

Pros

Growing company trying to make its mark in the ITS/ICT industry.

Cons

Was promised the moon during interview in CO, but when arrived at satellite office, it was a disaster with current employees there doing as they please rather than following company policy. No real supervision at all. Customer very frustrated and unhappy with other project managers with quality of work being very poor. No phones in the office, which had been opened over six months and the only way internet could be accessed was from another employee bring a wireless router from home. Executive management's solution was to yell at everyone and make threats. Horrible office location and working environment for all. Poor accountability at all levels with many executives appearing to be drunks. IT Department for a company this size was nonexistent.

Thank you for your feedback. We are genuinely sorry your experience was so uncomfortable and appreciate you taking the time to share it so we can grow. With the unprecedented growth we have experienced in recent years, we have successfully navigated through some challenges which may have contributed to your perception. 2016 was both an opportunity to invest in tools, expand our internal IT Department, elevate our Human Resources, and add to or make changes in our leadership in various parts of the country. Having researched your claim of missing phones and internet in one of our regional offices, we confess, we are confused. All offices were opened with that equipment, baring one where, in the initial months of operation, we found the use of cell phones vs. implementing a business system more efficient. Now squarely in the first quarter of 2017, our business opportunities are stronger than at any other 1st quarter in our history, and our expansion into new markets continue with, as you suggest, a renewed focus on strategic entry. Additionally, leadership from around the country has been aligned and is working as a team, with a greater focus on employee training and effective communication. We wish you the very best in your future endeavors.
