Pros

+ low turnover, + Great benefits, + good work-life balance, + international expansion focus, Overall this is a great company where people love to work and you can see that in the quality of the people

Cons

Some may say the investment management industry is in structural decline due to over-regulation and declining fees. This may worry people.

Pros

Small and friendly family office culture. Was never a hostile place to work but, in fact, very pleasant

Cons

Because of size of London office a lot of correspondence with Boston office before making decisions sometimes. But Boston office was also pleasant to work with

Pros

The manager I am under as well as the Head Manager (based in Boston) they are under were both very welcoming when I first joined the group - still to this day (3 months on), everyone is very welcoming and supportive if I come to any issues - be it personal or work-related! Exposure for me personally has been great for me (based on my own experience) - got to briefly meet the CEO (Tom Faust) when he visited and a lot of the other chief staffs (outside of my own manager). Best thing so far is my manager's willingness to allow me to exercise my independence in the work that is given to me, and necessary support if need be. By far one of the best experiences I have had compared to my previous roles, especially considering I am an Intern at the moment.

Cons

The only niggle I would comment would be the remuneration/salary. Granted I do understand the position of an Intern and hence reduced salary - so when put in this perspective, it can be seen as a necessary compromise for the time being.
