No clear expectations from higher management. Even they are not sure what they want to do, they will give vague goals and unrealistic deadlines, goals keeps changing on the flight, and will yell at you why the task is not completed?
So there is this typical corporate strategy they use. Leadership try to look calm and caring, and they have kept middle management to pressurize you so that leaders can keep their image clean.
Middle management gets abusive if you don't get the task done, they won't give any instructions of what is the task, you are on your own. Then they will literally question your skills, abuse you, harrass you to save their butt, so that their incompetency and unrealistic expectations are blamed on your shoulders.
They will tell you to do a task, but they won't provide resources for that, then they will tell that company cannot afford the cost of the resources, then again yell at you why there is no progress. Noone will tell u how things are works there, everyone is busy doing their own things, people would avoid hassle of helping you and teaching you instead would watch a movie in the working hours. No training or time is provided apart from basic introduction about the product. Everything feels like illusion and somehow you are trying to fit in this virtual company. It felt like a virtual game where monsters are attacking you and you have to find an escape.
