Pros
I am proud to work for Eden Training Solutions. The company as a whole operates on strong values and ethics and support all employees professionally and personally. My co-workers are either office based or home based and we have opportunity to all come together during our Company meetings which take place in a variety of venues and always include an activity that we can get involved in. I started my journey with Eden as an apprentice. Using my background and prior learning within the childcare industry, I was able to train as a Skills Coach; supporting learners in achieving their qualifications ranging from a Level 2 to a level 5. I then developed in a new role as part of the Induction team and then became the Lead Induction Officer. As the Lead Induction officer it is my responsibility to be the first face to face contact with the learner, introducing the qualification, ensuring the learner has understanding of how the course is structured and what Knowledge, skills and behaviors will be learnt/ developed. My role is currently office based. (The office itself is open plan and on two levels. There is also a spacious canteen area). The work atmosphere and environment is always friendly where everyone from different departments supports each other. The managerial team are approachable and never too busy to support. The company has excellent CPD opportunities and works closely with each employee to develop Knowledge, Skills and Behaviors, whether this be through qualifications or short courses. During my time with Eden I have been able to complete a Level 4 assessing and Coaching qualification, Achieve my Functional Skills for Mathematics and I am currently completing a Level 4 - Learning and Skills Mentor qualification.

Pros
Learning and development are highly encouraged within Eden since starting I have been supported to develop maths by completing functional skills and currently completing an apprenticeship relevant to my role. There are also plenty of opportunities to develop CPD through various platforms. I work with a team of induction officers who are very supportive. Reflection and areas of development that I have identified have been welcomed and training and information is always provided. I feel I have been able to comfortably develop my role with the encouragement of the team I work with.
Cons

Pros
I have worked at Eden TS for 11 years, within this time I have been supported and encouraged to develop my competence in different areas of the company, starting as an unqualified skills assessor, moving to the IQA team then to my current role as operations manager. I have faced challenges within all these roles, but have always had support from various people to enable me to overcome and learn from these, which is still ongoing. Eden strive to develop the team and promote within, through regular 121's, mentoring, and training courses. I work primarily from home and have been provided with all the equipment I need to do this effectively, however, I do go into the office each week as the team in the office are great to be around and enables me to have face to face conversations with other departments. This interaction is encouraged throughout Eden where we have regular team meetings which often include an activity (team building) of some sort. Eden has a clear mission which is communicated to the whole team so we all work towards the same vision. Promoting a collaborative environment where ideas are encouraged and often implemented. I'm excited to see where the next 11 years takes me within Eden.

Pros
I’ve worked for Eden for almost 5 years and my experience has all been positive. It’s an organisation that cares for its employees and the impact they have on the Early Years sector. I’m based in the Normanton office, which is a modern, bright and inviting environment to work in. This includes a breakout room with a pool table, TV and sofas. Eden arranges different activities to encourage employees to build relationships including company meetings, team building events and a yearly Christmas party. Since starting at Eden, I've gained 3 x Level 5 qualifications which have all been supported by the organisation. These qualifications have helped me to develop personally and professionally. They provide excellent training and development opportunities for all employees which has led to multiple internal promotions. Eden colleagues are knowledgeable and go above and beyond to support new and existing employees. The organisation provides opportunities for hard work and dedication to be recognised through ‘Golden Ticket’ nominations and long service awards. This is a lovely company to work for!
