- Very low paying for what is expected, permanent carers only on $24 p/h
- Promises of incentives working double shifts or coming in at short notice (vouchers) that are not always handed onto the staff member as there is not a registry to make sure this is followed through with.
- Very high workload demands/expectations and working across other roles but still getting paid the same amount when they are saving money not having a staff member on for that shift in that particular role eg cares doing hospitality and cleaning roles aswell as there high demand carers duties.
- Just being a number no matter how much effort you put in or how many years you have serviced the organisation.
always fighting to keep their employees wages at a ridiculous low level of pay, instead of paying and recognising employees & what they are worth.
