Bait and switch

Pros

I met some really great people while I was there. The employees are easy going, and definitely the best part of the company. The building was clean and had all new equipment, desks, etc. Technology was great.

Cons

I've never seen such a high turnover at a company in my life. A lot of retaliation and guilt tripping. Very high stress and you never know if/when you'll get walked out. They expect you to put in "extra effort", which basically translates to working for free. You're salary there, so any extra hours you put in, you are not paid for. They also don't let employees get renewals anymore, which used to be a major selling point to work there. They LOVE to tell you that you can make 100k in your first year. Honestly it's laughable. You can't. It's a total bait and switch. They change the bonus plan so frequently, it's hard to know what your goals even are. They set the goals just far enough out of reach that they're unattainable unless you work yourself to death and have zero free time. They also like to issue lots of chargebacks, so at a certain point, you're losing MORE money out of an already small paycheck.

Beware! Company in shambles

Pros

The office location is ideal and there’s a gym. Plus the woman at the front desk, is the nicest lady in America.

Cons

Literally everything else about the place. I’m glad I can finally speak out. The diversity here is non existent. If you’re a black woman, you unfortunately have NO chance surviving here long term. If you’re a woman in general, unless you kiss butt, you won’t make it far. The men in charge will never give you a chance to grow simply based on your gender. Everything here is tailored to men, even down to the dress code, and when it was brought to management, they ignored it per usual. Because management doesn’t care, the few women that are employed here have decided to just accept their fate here and suck it up for the sake of keeping their income. EIP let a known “pill popper and sniffer” be the director of the most loved department for over a year, knowing that affected the hiring process and caused many good candidates to get rejected. They hid his addiction from employees until they finally couldn’t hide it anymore and had to let him go, yet every leader knew about it. They just did a HUGE layoff so there’s no point in applying to work here, especially if you’re an agent. Sales people make $15 an hour no matter what the recruiters tell you. Yes, you can make commission but the CEO will FINE you for every single thing that he wants, the amount of the fines are all at his discretion. Imagine getting paid just to see $50 fines taken out just because. They will say you have the possibility to make a high amount but realistically, after all of the frivolous deductions they make, you can’t even make a living here. There’s also no room for growth here whatsoever, I’ve seen more people get demoted than actually promoted in here. They may give a sales agent the title of a supervisor, but please know it will be taken away in 60 days or less. You don’t stand a chance. On top of that, there’s no sick days or vacation, just 5 days of PTO that you accrue at the slowest rate, so then you go into negative and never get out. Just do yourselves a favor and stay far away from EIP. They lie terribly and will promise you the world during the phone screen, just to belittle you as an employee every single day. So many people don’t even make it through the 90 day period without getting fired. RUN! If I could give it negative stars I would.

While we respect individuals' rights to express their opinions, it’s important to distinguish between constructive feedback and baseless attacks, especially when they’re defaming and abusive, not only to the company but, more importantly, to other current and former team members like the one you mentioned in your post. It’s shameful, and we hope you reconsider and do the right thing. We take allegations of discrimination, lack of diversity, and unfair treatment very seriously. We’re committed to fostering an inclusive and supportive work environment, regardless of race, gender, or any other characteristic. Any claims suggesting otherwise are not reflective of the culture, and in your heart, you know that’s true. We encourage open and honest communication with our team members and remain committed to continuously improving workplace culture. We invite any team member with concerns to come forward so that we can work together to address them in a constructive and productive manner. Regarding the specific allegations made, we must clarify that we adhere strictly to anti-discrimination laws and regulations, and any instances of discrimination are thoroughly investigated and addressed. We have clear channels for reporting concerns, and we encourage team members to utilize these channels so that we can promptly address any issues that arise. Additionally, regarding compensation, we adhere to all relevant labor laws and regulations and provide compensation packages that are equal to or better than most companies our size, and our sales agent's total compensation is of the best in the industry.

Pros

I always enjoyed my co workers and most of the management is helpful and seems to care about those working under them. Longtime managers John F. and Jayson were great and they have recently had a few good promotions from within that have stepped up as well. The CEO does a good job of getting things done when a suggestion is brought to the table.

Cons

The feel and direction from when I started to now is different and is turning into more of a large scale call center opposed to smaller and close knit group. Some outside hires they have made have been questionable, specifically upper management. There is definitely a disconnect between the Agents and some of those hired individuals.
