Pros
The CEO's new Bentley sure is nice. We'd love to take a ride in it, we're the ones who paid for it. They offer free Folgers coffee and the office has Heat/AC
Cons
- You get a salary (32k). This is typically a good thing, but not at this company. They do this to prevent the DOL from questioning the hours you'll work and to keep you exempt from overtime pay. You'll end up working 55+hours a week - do the math. It's good for the business I suppose. -Schedule. Its rotating. It's what's best for the business. The people who made this possible work 8-5 Monday- Friday. The individual who approved this is at his Miami condo laughing at you. -non compete/non solicitation. If you get an offer at a firm that would pay you a living, frankly moral wage, you can't. You're trapped. I feel God awful for individuals who have a supply chain degree who signed that- you're professional setback will go unnoticed. It's what's best for the business. -now a word of condolence for the sales personnel. The AE position shows odd resemblance to 1940's eastern Europe. You'll do all the work by bringing on new business, and some guy (in a new Bentley) will reap every single benefit. However, do not fret, you're getting a salary.....which is a fraction of the wage you'd earn at another firm BEFORE COMMISSION. It's what's best for the business. -The CFO prevents wage increases ( regardless of how deserving) to keep the company afloat because? You guessed it, its what's best for the Business- sidebar- his new audi looks amazing. Job Security- dependent on what's best for the business that day. -your business card. Its says "do what's best for the business
