Pros

the lower level employees truly care about the kids and really try to do the best the can.

Cons

management plays favorites to those that brown nose, a lot of nepotism, they hire a lot of young women and deal with sexual harassment, they will belittle people, and have people walk on glass. they genuinely do not care about their employees as long as the money comes in. kids are not being taught and I personally heard management say that they didn't care.

DO NOT WORK HERE!

Pros

The students were the only pros.

Cons

Literally everything. The leadership staff has no background or real experience in their roles. The coach staff to fake data and take data incorrectly in an effort to show districts students are meeting expectations and the required hours are being provided in accordance with each IEP. It is a lie. This place exists only to make money off each student. Education is not the goal. Safety is nonexistent. Staff attrition is high. Assaults on students by staff is frequent. It is just an awful place to work with the toxicity of a state job.

Run Far Away

Pros

Work is consistent and you won’t have to worry about hours during breaks. Ample pto (though they strongly encourage you to only use the pto during kids breaks) The staff that actually work with the kids are all very caring, knowledgeable, and patient.

Cons

Completely unhinged ownership that is disconnected from the reality of what it takes to actually help their clients. Zero functional or applicable knowledge in even the most basic concepts of behavioral health. Constantly playing catch up with state policies surrounding how to handle kids. And even when they do update themselves they often misinterpret and have to correct again. The worst nepotism of any company I’ve worked at. If you are drinking buddies with upper management you will get praise and promotion despite having absolutely no qualifications for the position you are promoted to. Management is openly hostile towards employees that bring up concerns. They have cameras everywhere in the building “to protect everyone” but are watching them constantly and will attack employees in meetings if they hear workers expressing concerns about the job amongst themselves.
