Pros
Very friendly colleagues. Flexible work arrangements (as long as you get work done before deadlines and you reply to messages in a timely manner). Office provides laptop (although if you get a lousy model, they'll make it hard for you to switch for a better one). Strategic location near the MRT line. Benefits are still better than most companies, though they're not spectacular. If I were to describe it as if we were all cows in a field, the grass is chartreuse, it's not yellow/brown but it's definitely not green.
Cons
A lot. Company gaslighted us that no one gets bonuses but apparently people in managerial roles secretly got them for the past few years. They also cut a lot of our benefits this year, despite boasting that they are getting record-breaking profits. Instead of giving their employees the raises they deserve, they elected to spend that money on a billboard at Times Square. Instead of improving our healthcare benefits, they promised during a town hall to add protein snacks to our pantry (which they haven't even done. I don't even care about protein but at least fulfill your promises). Instead of giving their employees the support they need to deliver good work to clients, they bought over Straightarrow and gave us juniors that don't even know how to proactively ask questions or do tasks without having to hold their hand step by step. Allegedly we are also AI guinea pigs for one of the higher ups' AI bots that they invested in. Which is great, you know, since AI is taking away marketing jobs lol. Allegedly, they also froze hiring in the KL office (but in a recent townhall they encouraged us to refer our friends???) since they're hyper-growing in Manila (but could they at least vet the skills of the people they hire there? I guess it's hard when you have a KPI of 50 hires a day (allegedly)) If you're not looking to grow in your career, I guess this is a good place to prepare your casket (Some of the people who have been here since before pandemic are already doing so and not giving af about their work anyways).
