Pros

The people who work the front line are great and believe in the product, especially the technicians. Upper Management gets it and tries to create the culture based on their values and does attempt to show the employees that they are serious about making the employees first and creating a positive and fun work environment.

Cons

Middle Management are Power Hungry and will throw there power around so bad that the morale in the whole office drops and no one wants to say anything for fear of losing their job. HR Department does not know the meaning of Confidentiality nor will they support you against middle management. Going to HR with a complaint will only open the door for them to create a fake case against you. Once this happens it is only a matter of months before your kicked out the door. Compliance Department is the same way, instead of conducting on-site investigations they will get the file from HR do a few phone interviews with individuals that have nothing to do with the matter, then wait about a month before they get back to you only to state word for word what HR created. No support what-so-ever and yet they preach ethical values and the importance of speaking up. If you need your job, don't say a word unless you are protected by the union. Middle Management and HR will always win no matter what you do to protect yourself. Female employees are looked down on and are paid 30% to 40% less than male employees even if the females have more experience and are educated. In this male dominated business, if you are a female your experience or education will never matter unless you are a part of the corporate team. Trust is the number one value for the company, however trust must be earned and when the only thing that matters to middle management is the bonus that will be going in their pocket at the end of the quarter then how can the company expect equal trust. My advice to all don't trust anyone at ADT, because it doesn't matter if you are the nicest person in the world or someone who goes out of their way to help others, the odds are against you at the end of the quarter.

Pros

Pros I truly enjoy working at ADT. I have the flexibility of a hybrid schedule, which allows for a great work-life balance. The company offers generous PTO, and more importantly, actively encourages employees to take the time they need to recharge. There’s also a strong sense of job security. ADT is consistently growing, and the steady flow of new hire classes reflects that stability. In my role, I get the opportunity not only to help people start their careers, but also to coach and support agents as they grow professionally and personally. Seeing that development firsthand is incredibly rewarding. On top of that, I work with an amazing team. The people here are supportive, collaborative, and genuinely care about each other’s success, which makes a huge difference in the day-to-day experience.

Cons

While compensation is generally competitive, I would love to see more opportunities for performance-based bonuses to help employees further grow their savings and feel rewarded for their contributions. Additionally, there is some opportunity for improvement in how the building facilities are managed to enhance the overall workplace environment.

Pros

The ONLY “Pro” that I can say is that the few employees that I had extensive training with were not only great teammates, we created a special bond that still and will always exist beyond the company. I value relationships.

Cons

Too many to say so I’ll keep it brief…the weekday hours you work, the weekend and holiday hours, make it difficult to have a work-life balance especially for those with children and significant others….it’s not healthy. When employees make minimal hourly wages they rely on their commission. When their pay period ends on a Saturday after two great weeks, the commission can still reduce significantly up to four days after that pay period….doesn’t make sense. And there is no exact clarification on how this happens. This causes great employees to quit which is one of the major reasons for the company’s high turnover rate. Non business related, you have minimal time to use the restroom or take an important phone call if you work in the office compared to those that work remotely. Those are just a few items that result in employee dissatisfaction and on-going new hire training courses due to the high turnover.
