Pros

The Knoxville location was purchased by ADT in 2010. Management was retained from the company they bought so the environment is a little better that other locations in the United States. They provide ongoing soft skills training programs.

Cons

A couple of years ago they received a grant to hire hundreds of new employees for this location. The result was working with people who were less than productive. People were assigned to different desks every day resulting in bug problems. Instead corporate addressing the cause, responsibility was placed on all employees to control the problem.

Pros

There is a lot of diversity. I love the team I am on. My manager is amazing and helps me improve myself with the company. We have different types of Bergs that I am part of the disabilities. Love to meet different people in the company that I would not have met before.

Cons

Customers can be very nasty at times, but with a kind word on your side can make a difference.

Pros

I've worked for the company for 40+ years, I'm treated with respect and my efforts are recognized by my Director and other ADT leaders. They give me the autonomy to manage my department and value my experience and insight. They offer a solid benefits package. ADT leads by example with their cultural markers and ensures that rules and laws are followed. I love the collaboration I have with our other departments.

Cons

Obviously, we all want more money, especially given the prices of everything, it's always nice to make more money, but I've checked the compensation and benefits in similar positions outside of ADT and I feel ADT is paying a fair wage and when I factor in the benefits package, they are above average in overall compensation.
