Thank you for taking the time to provide such detailed feedback. We genuinely appreciate the care and thoughtfulness behind your review.
We are grateful to hear that you experienced knowledgeable supervisors, supportive teammates, and meaningful clinical growth during your time here. The dedication of our technicians and BCBAs — and the way they advocate for clients — is something we are deeply proud of. Creating an environment where staff learn strong clinical skills, write high-quality documentation, and grow professionally is central to our mission.
We also take seriously the concerns you raised about leadership, communication, and organizational culture. Since this review, we have made significant structural changes to strengthen support and accountability. The Director of Operations role has been eliminated, and we have restructured our administrative team to include a full-time Operations Manager, a full-time HR Coordinator, a Staff Scheduling Support Coordinator, and a Family Services Coordinator. These changes were made intentionally to increase accessibility of leadership, improve responsiveness, and ensure staff have multiple levels of operational support.
At APPLE, our values — Assent, Positivity, Partnerships, Learning, and Empowerment — guide how we serve families and how we lead internally. That includes listening to staff feedback, increasing transparency, and building leadership practices rooted in respect and collaboration rather than hierarchy.
We also want to clearly affirm that protecting client privacy is non-negotiable. . Our electronic records are maintained in a secure, HIPAA-compliant cloud system (Egnyte), and any paper documentation is secured in locked offices with locked storage cabinets. Safeguarding PHI is a foundational operational standard for our organization.
Regarding PTO, benefits, and compensation concerns: since this review, we have revised our PTO structure to increase access based on tenure and have expanded our overall benefits package in direct response to staff surveys and feedback. We continue to evaluate compensation and scheduling practices within the realities of insurance- and Medicaid-funded services, while striving to offer competitive and sustainable employment opportunities.
We know no organization is perfect. What matters to us is listening, learning, and making meaningful improvements. We are committed to building a workplace culture where staff feel respected, supported, and empowered to do important work.
Thank you again for your feedback and for the care you provided to the clients you served.
