The CEO demeaning the Greek people of the group in front of the whole group and saying publicly that he “is ashamed to be Greek” because “the Greeks are lazy and scammers” is the first thing that comes to mind when thinking of this company’s cons. So, if you’re Greek, you know you’re not being equally treated and valued as the rest of the group.
Also, they promise raises and benefits that will come in the near future, yet they never come, or will come very late. Usually after you turn in your resignation you get a “but we were just about to give you a raise/promotion/benefit” or a “we did all these for you and you sell us out?”. Imagine getting a promotion and not get paid for it, all this extra work for months and no payment for it in sight.
The HR is basically an accounting department, not really caring for the people. In a situation where a manager was edgy enough to ask for money from his subordinates, the same subordinates that were refused a raise/promotion, the HR did either nothing for it or something was done behind the scenes (which is not good enough) when it was reported to them.
Of course the promised work from home policy that was highly advertised during recruitment in the covid era and was “here to stay” only came for some special cases. The rest were declined the right to work from home.
There’s probably more to add but I have already spent more time for this company than needed; so to summarise I would stay away from this company.
