Pros

ASG allows me to juggle my responsibilities as a work-from-home mother of a toddler, promoting a healthy work-life balance. I've had/have a great experience working at ASG. The Director of Talent Acquisition found me on LinkedIn and offered me a position as a Talent Acquisition Specialist in the Telecom industry, even though it was new. At first, I was hesitant, but Jennifer Bliven and Edgar Acevedo, the TA Supervisor, reassured me that there were extensive training and learning modules to support me. Eight months later, I feel confident and proficient in the Telecom industry. During my time at ASG, I experienced rapid career growth, moving from a Talent Acquisition Specialist to a Recruiter within the first 90 days. The TA Team, renowned for its supportive culture, made me feel welcomed and part of a team from day one. The collective helpfulness and kindness of everyone in the team contribute to a positive work environment that I am proud to be a part of. My current workload at ASG is not only manageable, but it also fosters a stress-free work environment. I am involved in sourcing and recruiting efforts for the Sacramento and southeast markets, providing me with new and diverse learning opportunities daily. I actively seek to expand my knowledge through daily interactions with colleagues, managers, and candidates during the interview process. ASG's commitment to employee well-being is evident in its comprehensive benefits package, which includes various insurance options, such as medical, dental, and pet insurance.

Pros

1. Leadership is approachable & receptive to feedback. 2. Work-Life Balance - I am able to manage my workload & professional commitments while also maintaining my personal responsibilities. 3. Opportunities for growth - We are given the resources needed to develop skills & apply for open opportunities. 4. Workplace culture - The company promotes collaborative & inclusive projects & focuses on employee wellbeing.

Cons

1. Rapid growth & frequent organizational changes make processes overwhelming & inconsistent. 2. Coordination between departments is inconsistent and leads to overlapping/redundant projects and confusion. 3. More role-specific training during onboarding could assist in the initial phases of employment. 4. Consistent priority project overlapping makes dispersing resources a challenge.

Pros

The only pros were the colleagues I worked with throughout my 14 year 10 year of the company, as well as a couple of my managers who were wonderful.

Cons

Oh- where do I start? I was one of a handful of individuals who joined the company in 2010. I worked in the office for three years until I moved to Massachusetts and was permitted to work remotely. While I was working in the office, I was the owner’s (Anthony Tepedino) right hand. I spent a lot of time assisting him and driving with him to New York City and Brooklyn. He was very inappropriate on many occasions. And I was very uncomfortable more times than not. I needed the job so I stayed. But I was relieved when I was able to work from home once I relocated. From then on, I had different roles in the company and gave my 100% throughout the years. There was so much of a lack of communication, jobs started that were not completed, dishonesty towards the client, nepotism, you name it. And in the end, I was told I was being let go without any warning, despite the fact that I have longevity in the company and was dedicated until the very end. And yet they were hiring in other states! And after being with the company for over 14 years, I only received one month severance. I have three children, and am a single mom. I still haven’t found full-time work. Treated like a number after all of those years… Never again what I work for this company. You couldn’t pay me enough $ to ever go back. If that was an option!!!
