Pros

- Excellent career and professional development. Everyone assumes your primary goal is to learn and grow and upper-management often provides plenty of opportunities for self-development. I've felt very supported by the entire company. They seem truly invested in everyone's careers and will go out of their way to help find the right direction for you, both as an employee and individual. - Compensation. Starting salaries are very generous. Working smart and hard is abundantly rewarded. - Everyone is exceptionally qualified. There's no shortage of borderline genius people to ask for help and get ideas from. Most people are excited to help each other and cooperate toward larger goals.

Cons

- Navigating expectations can be tricky. Everyone works very hard and it can be challenging to keep up. Managing the trade-off between autonomy and productivity can be frustrating. Sometimes management gives a lot of leash, which is great if you know what to do with it, and sometimes you're stuck doing something menial. This is probably a more universal problem that applies to most small companies. - General problems with the tech industry unavoidably apply to Accompany, of course. If you're trying to save the world don't fool yourself into thinking that building an app for elites is going to do the trick. - You will struggle if you're not an ambitious, liberal, social, hard-working individual. Being able to put your head down and work is necessary but not sufficient.
