Achievement First is filled with talented and committed teachers who are willing to go above and beyond for their kiddos. At Achievement First you are part of a mission to get urban students to graduate from college and being part of that is unbelievably rewarding and purposeful. Achievement First provides an incredible level of coaching and support; the career trajectory possibilities are limitless. It's also amazing to work with people are all committed and believe that all kids have the potential to go to and graduate from college.
Cons
Achievement First requires and ardent work ethic. Teachers work really hard to deliver on the promise of educational equity. Also, AF is very feedback heavy. You have to want to learn and grow to succeed. If you aren't reflective and willing to commit 100%, then this isn't the place for you. .
