Pros

- Excellent company culture that even upper management partake in and enjoy, creates such a nice welcoming environment and makes for a genuinely pleasant working environment - flexibility to work hybrid and generally (manager dependant) flexibility around real life appointments (medical, dental etc) - opportunities to get exposure to other parts of the business and potentially to move teams etc - a few perks beyond the standard (eg medical insurance)

Cons

- not a lot of room for upwards progression due to flat corporate structure and small company size, therefore also limited salary growth. Lots of praise etc around performance bonus but consistent efforts are not necessarily reflected by pay rises (beyond the annual inflationary one) which can make wages uncompetitive relatively quickly. - no clear progression/pay scale. There are set annual goals, but other companies tend to also use grades or levels to reflect experience in a standardised way, here it's pretty much if your manager believes you're experienced then that's great but if not then you're limited and the lack of transparency makes it hard to argue your case without being dismissed relatively quickly.

Pros

The company itself is good, there are nice events, both in office and outside of office, good benefits, and the office is nice.

Cons

However, Operations is a greatly undervalued position by the company. Although we take part in key Operations, the rest of the company does not appreciate it, or see us as remotely as good as them. There is a clear division of hierarchy, in which people believe we are stupid, despite all Operations advisors being multilingual and educated. There is a lot of pressure for getting things done quick, and we often end up overwhelmed. There is no time for development and training in Operations. Hence, we had a lot of people leave the past few months, even those who worked there for many years, as things have been changing for the worse.
