Cons
Biggest con is the rise of unqualified middle and upper managers in the engineering org. It’s like a boys club for Salesforce rejects, because that’s where they all worked together before coming to AC. Engineering managers with ZERO engineering experience who have proven that the only way up is not by working hard but by kissing the butts of higher ups and sneakily finding ways to overwork their reports to extreme burnout so much so that they either A: quit or B: get pip’d. This is just a way for more outsourcing of US employees to cheaper countries. This company if full of empty promises of promotions and raises but let me tell you that each year I was there I was extremely disappointed by the lack of merit based promotions and raises given. Engineers, do yourself a favor and do not work here. It will only be a matter of time before the next round of layoffs, and eventually, it will be your turn.
