Pros
-company makes great products and is doing well -compensation's good, albeit diluted for salaried folks when you extrapolate rate for actual hours worked -solid benefits with a lot of self-serve resources (gym) -outstanding golf perks if you play
Cons
-burnout culture...everyone's overworked and overcommitted to a project pipeline that seemingly grows every week...there's no ebb and flow...it's constant pressure all the time...I expect the occasional long week to hit milestones..it just can't be every week...and it is...I never feel "caught up" here, just constantly overwhelmed -people are short with you...I used to think it was a Massachusetts culture thing, but I think it's an everyone's burned out thing instead -Aloof management would rather spend millions to build an atrium (human terrarium) at an office no one wants to work from anymore than hire additional talent to help with its project appetite - -priority shifts often feel arbitrary...don't make much sense in the big picture -humorless work culture...ZERO laughs...it's like the opening scene from Joe vs. The Volcano except with golf shirts and khakis
