Pros
Some of the crew are lovely to work with Destinations & layovers Standby tickets
Cons
Disgraceful pay: as a Senior Crew Member you rotate between working on position 1L one week and 4L on the A330 aircraft the next. There is no fixed Cabin Manager position for which the company pays 4 times the salary at its Dublin base. The basic salary is a joke of approximately £18.510 a year - commission and sector pay included you can expect £1600 in a good month as an SCCM. There is a sense of intimidation and fear working for this airline due to the environment that is created by management. The airline is not very pro crew at all. Don’t ever expect to receive new uniform pieces cause your team manager will try their best to not provide you with them. The working culture is a very talk down kind of attitude. Same bland and boring crew food over and over again for years. Cockpit and Cabin Crew are very separated. The way they schedule SEP training, you can expect to have it twice a year with hours of endless modules but not enough time rostered to complete all the modules. Overnight allowances are insufficient for the US and Barbados This airline is greedy and tight. If you’re sick more than twice, you are hauled in for an absence investigation and made to feel intimidated for ringing in sick. No crew rest on long flights and taking a nap is not encouraged.
