      I'm not sure if its the same with every office. But the one i was in wasn't very hands on with people just coming out of sales school. We were supposed to have someone out in the field with us during the initial stages after sales school to show us the ropes in person. But we were pretty much told to look up companies and just go out door to dor

      Pros

      Freedom to be your own boss, trips, bonuses, renewable income (instead of one time commission), career instead of just a job. FORTUNE 500 and a World's most Ethical Company. Great training (at least here in Wyoming) and a family mentality. Great family/work balance.

      Cons

      No base pay, can be a slow start at first, you have to be very organized and self-driven, have to be licensed in life and health to sell insurance (but my management help with the process).
