I have been with Agapecare for 6 years and really feel that this is where I will one day retire from. The staff and upper management are always supportive of our needs. Agapecare sets a very high standard for quality care that I have never found anywhere else. They provide more than most places of PTO to ensure that family and work life balance is there in which with being in hospice it is much needed.
Cons
Our pay is competative however all of us would say we need more. Would be nice to be equilavent to the hospital pay. But it is a different world from hospice to hospital.

The field staff love hospice and care so much about the work they do every day. But they have no clinical or leadership support.
Cons
Inexperienced clinical leadership and director of operations. Favoritism. Unequal caseloads. Retaliation when productivity not met. Retaliation by leadership when needing to call out sick. High caseload. Poor work life balance. Senior/corporate leadership do not take field staff concerns seriously. HR does not take field staff concerns seriously. Director is not knowledgeable in hospice care and there are frequent service failures. AVP / CEO / HR did not act expeditiously to several complaints regarding branch leadership. Branch needs a clean out and a lot of TLC.
