Cons
Everything boils down to a KPI/OKR/SLA, half the time is spent in building measurements and gathering metrics. Management does not like to go by their gut, neither to improve customer nor employee experience. No one really cares about employee growth, managers are just mostly busy keeping their teams' numbers on track. Performance reviews include providing a score. No clear guidelines on what a score means. Very hard to argue or understand why a particular score is given, subjectivity is leveraged by the management to provide score based on personal opinions. Tech leadership behaves quite aloof and unapproachable. And even when approached is quick to dismiss concerns. Generally ruthless environment. Invite expat employees to come and live in a foreign country without so much as a good support system. Many cases of employees burning out and the company just ending up washing its hands off the situation as soon as possible. Workforce is diverse with employees from 100+ countries but there are large apparent cliques based on nationality with little effort done to actually inculcate a sense of unity. No development of a sense of pride in being an "Agodan".
