Pros
Having read through the reviews of late, I’ve noticed the ‘fantastic’ & ‘great’ reviews seem to come from those employees with 1 year or less experience! That’s the thing, as one review says ‘it’s easy to be overawed by shiny things’ and that really sums it up. The pros are: A sizeable marketing team who produce some really cool/slick media for the company website, LinkedIn, Company meetings & client pitches Some really great people on the coal face; the ‘doers’ these are the folks who are still working late into evenings redoing work because of clients ‘pivoting’ (that’s code for not knowing what they want) Generous events like all expenses Christmas party, Summer Glamping, monthly social etc (I understand that these have been reined back due to poor ‘company performance’ (code for high turnover in the IP sales team & the ‘doers’ not doing enough to sell the IP even though it’s not their job) That’s about it
Cons
Ruthless management The ‘We really care about…..blah’ fine words but in reality the head of people services couldn’t give a t0ss. The bottom line when I was there was about billing billing billing and billing Bottoms on seats and covering angles to get more bottoms on seats along with exploiting any opportunity to sell the IP There were even promises of fantastic holidays for anyone who got a lead that ended in a sale to a client. I may be wrong but I don’t ever recall anyone going on one of these trips The other part of the business (non consultancy) is the software development of the IP. If you end up there, stay there & smile, You’ve won the Aiimi lottery. It (really) doesn’t get any better than that.
