Having been with Airwallex for over a year, it saddens me that you have written a review which in no way reflects all of the outstanding achievements made by both the team and individuals over this time. It also does not acknowledge the significant improvements we have made and continue to make across the business in process, technology, and company culture.
Working in a fast-growing business like Airwallex presents daily challenges and I am proud of our team and how tirelessly they work together to build and improve great products.
To say that we expect our Melbourne team to work 9-9-6 is false. If you have been advised that this is the expectation, please contact me and let me know who has set this expectation for you.
If you or any other team member feels like they are going through hell working at Airwallex, then I suggest you raise this with a member of the leadership team so we can address specific concerns. Writing a review on Glassdoor is your right but it doesn’t enable us to fix anything when we do not have specific information to act upon.
Ideally, I would like to personally hear from you so that we can work through these issues together. I would also again like to highlight that any member of the team that has been with us for more than a year has likely contributed to the delivery of great product, cultural change, and is in a position to positively impact the business into the future. Please take this opportunity and work with us to make Airwallex a better place to work.
