We have grown rapidly over the past 12 months and more than 80% of our people are employees. With this growth, we also invested heavily in growing and developing our management team. We understand the importance of clear and transparent communication within our organisation at all levels of the business. With our monthly virtual companywide meetings, twice annual in-person all hands, and a variety of social and wellbeing events, we strive to foster transparency, two-way communication and continue a strongly collaborative, positive culture. Our HR team actively works to ensure all of our employees are treated fairly, given clear guidance and communication, and have every opportunity to provide feedback and get the support they need to be successful. We invest a lot in our employees here at Aker by offering them access to an annual training allowance, a new hire remote set up allowance and an annual wellbeing allowance amongst other benefits. Clients contact Aker to help with enterprise data modernisation and we’re all working our roles towards a greater vision, one that helps the world become a more safe, secure place, and where we can help our clients do the heavy lifting to help them succeed. We recognise that we need to give people wider experience beyond their individual project so that they can appreciate the breadth of work and technology at Aker and that is something we’re actively working on.
