Pros

Competent training, flight benefits, ergonomic friendly office environment, helpful co workers, and the option to work from home.

Cons

When I think of Alaska I envision a wolf in sheeps clothing. I'm going along, doing my job, then suddenly one day I was fired for a ridiculous reason and not rehireable. Worst thing is that if you are living in Seattle and you want to stay in aviation, being fired by them makes your options limited. I wouldn't say definitely don't work for AS, but I would say watch your back. They may seem all warm, fuzzy, and family like but they really are not! They are like any other large corporation if you are not performing to their standards they won't think twice about firing you. No warnings, no second chances.

Pros

The travel benefits are excellent, and the job offers opportunities to meet people from all over the world. My coworkers were supportive, teamwork was strong, and no two days were ever the same. The role helped me build confidence, improve customer service skills, and learn how to stay calm under pressure.

Cons

The schedule can be unpredictable, with long duty days, early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays away from family. The job can also be physically demanding, and dealing with difficult passengers can be stressful.
