Pros

They are a steady company

Cons

They put ZERO effort to keep employees. If you ask for a raise, they feel they can fire you and replace you with someone else at a cheaper cost. Their health benefits are one of the worst I've ever seen. They are so old school that they still have paper time sheets.

To Current Employee: Thank you for taking the time to leave your review on working at Almost Family. I am shocked to see that you feel we put in zero effort to keep our employees happy. Almost Family has raised the bar to make sure our employee's voices and concerns are heard by implementing the Employee Survey. In addition we do want our employees to feel appreciated and have fun at work. That is why we have an employee event committee to help plan fun things through out the year. In 2016 we had a Spring Carnival where we brought in Food Trucks, Ice Creams Trucks and local artists to perform. We also had an employee appreciation night at the Bats Game, March Madness Bracket Contest, Home Care Appreciation Month (included breakfast served by Senior Leadership Team, Chair Massages, Cookies, Jean's Days & various gifts), a Holiday lunch with a Murder Mystery Performance and a few other activities. We are always open to new ideas, so please make sure you are leaving additional feedback on the employee survey.

Pros

Company is a busy one with what seems to be a diverse range of clients with different needs in private homes, apartments, retirement communities, nursing homes and hospital from the simple to complex cases.

Cons

My opinion more interaction with other employees to exchange experience and better learn.

Pros

I can't think of one. Insurance is too high and terrible coverage. Wages are stagnant with no raises.

Cons

Management is horrible. They all feel they are better than everyone else. Wages, benefits, work environment. The list goes on and on.
