They don't pay if you decide this job isn't right for you so beware! - Patient Communication Specialist American Health Connection Employee Review

Pros

PTO, 401K and Health Insurance

Cons

They don't pay if you quit. They have you purchase headsets that are costly. You'll be running back and forth to your PC for the short 10 minute breaks they give you. A 20 minute break is given I think but this is unpaid. The people you have to deal with in the locations they take calls from is horrendous and mean . You are basically the front desk person for all calls going to all of the clinics in that area because the people calling in are too ignorant to find and call the correct numbers.

Pros

The job is super easy. The training is short because the work is so easy. The calls come back to back most days, especially Monday morning. Each day after that they slow down. You are not micro-managed. You clock in and do your job and no one bothers you. You never speak to management. They only contact you by company email if they need to contact you. They may occasionally reach out to you in chat. The pay is well for what you do.

Cons

BORING! BORING! BORING! It's the same routine every day all day. From one call to the next. It's very mundane. Some people don't like that the training is so short. Other than these few things, it's a good job.
