Pros
-great benefits (BCBS of TX) -half-day every Friday -unlimited PTO -fully remote if you want to be -casual atmosphere -you can choose your own work schedule -free LinkedIn Learning account (this is brand new) I'm a new hire, but so far I haven't found a single thing wrong with working @ Appspace so far. Everyone has been very informative, welcoming, and eager to help me succeed. There is really a great team feel here. It doesn't feel competitive; we all succeed as a team. Even the bonus structure is based on the success of the company as a whole, which fosters teamwork over competition. There's definitely a lot of work and the company expects you to be a self-starter. They don't hold your hand, so be prepared to take the initiative to learn all you can. My days go by super fast because I'm so busy. This job doesn't feel like work to me, and I love coming to work every day and interacting with all of my fellow employees. If you get lucky enough to get a chance to work here...take it, you won't regret it!!!
Cons
Honestly, there really aren't any for me, but if I had to find something these would be it: -Fast-paced, so be prepared for that, this can be a negative for some people -Things are always changing (kind of the nature of the tech industry) and getting updated and it can be hard to keep track of everything at times. -It's expected that you are a self-starter, which for some people can be a negative -No tuition assistance offered at this time -No work-from-home stipend
