Pros

-Steady work: Once you're out of training -Easy for those with technical skill: 70% of the work consists telling people to turn a device off and on to see if it works

Cons

-Outdated equipment: The computers, monitors, chairs and desks are all either damaged or outdated. I have yet to see a monitor that hasn't had some kind of image burn or scratch mark and the computers are so slow you are expected to show up 10+ minutes early as to not clock in late. -Poor communication: You can expect a coaching from a team lead about once every 2-3 weeks but you will get conflicting. -Very poor benefits: They do have dental, vision, and health but dental and vision are far better at other places and the PTO caps at 40 hours in one year and is to be used for both sickness and any vacation. -High turnover: As this company contracts out to a larger company if the higher ups want to make cuts don't expect any job security as plans can change month to month. -No work life balance: You can expect to work the entire weekend as is the normal schedule now.

All employees are instructed to report damaged/slow equipment to the proper department for review, repair and/or replacement. ARCsmart management monitors coaching, all employees are instructed to meet with management or HR if they have concerns. During the onboarding process all candidates are made aware that schedules are based on client needs and may change at any time (this is standard for all call centers). Pros

- Definitely was some good office culture while I was there. No "we're a family around here" stuff, but there was a friendly vibe to the office and I got along well with just about everyone. My coworkers were friendly and so was management, for the most part.

Cons

- When I was there, it didn't seem like new hires were being screened thoroughly enough. I helped train new hires during my time there and some of them coming in were just not good fits for the position, like HR had just said yes to anyone coming through the door
