Pros
The company has seen tremendous success and growth in recent years, and by and large, they pay quite well and take care of their employees. There are a lot of very good people with genuine talent and expertise at Argus and as a whole the company appears to have a clear vision of its place in the world. There's a willingness to invest, and in general, management takes a fairly long-term view of things which is fairly rare in modern business.
Cons
The company's growth is a two-edged sword and I sense that Argus is struggling to adapt from being essentially an over-grown family business to a medium sized company with everything that entails. There have been a lot of changes and not all of them have been well executed.; one recent department restructuring, for example, was poorly handled , which to be fair, I think management recognizes. The sheer number of new faces has inevitably impacted the company culture, especially as a lot of new senior roles have been filled from outside. Argus has implemented a new organizational structure that has resolved some issues but introduced new ones, and global communication and alignment remains a challenge.
