Pros
Arrow offers pretty stable employment and there are a few very knowledgable people in these departments to learn from. If your lucky enough to get one of these managers they usually realize there are better opportunities elsewhere. They offer generous PTO but you'll never find time to take vacation.
Cons
The managers at this company have a mindset that they've paid their dues and they are going to kick back. They make themselves look good on the work of their teams. While staff is working late you can find management taking off nice and early. Total double standard in terms of expectations. Expect your typical top heavy corporate culture here. Employees are miserable, unappreciated, underpaid, and overworked. Most people I have seen start at Arrow make it about 6 months. I have seen countless turnovers that result in consolidation of workload. This company believes a department already stretched thin can take two employees and turn the workload into one (but don't expect that consolidation to touch the manager level). Its not unheard of to work 8-9pm for extended periods of time. If you are reading this, take my advice and look elsewhere. You'll regret taking a job in either department. Arrow will promise you the world and probably even preach a "work-life" balance, it does not exist in the accounting or finance departments.
