There are a lot of instances where good information is not fully disclosed. I feel that knowing up front you will have to pay for leads is important. Also, the salary and earnings that are talked about during the interview process are achieved by only a few of the top earners in the company and not by everyone.
The process of working for free while you wait for your license is highly suspicious. Making phone calls and setting appointments only for the agent who is "training" you to cancel at the last minute or show up 45 minutes late is not professional.
Coming in on Saturdays to make phone calls is not training, it's free labor.
Learning scripts, using a fake name, not telling people on the phone where you are calling from or your phone number and not giving customers your card all sound really fishy to me.
