Pros

Very flexible working arrangements - managers don’t care if or when you work from home.

Cons

Decisions are not data driven, and senior leaders have very soft KPIs that they aren’t held accountable to. Many senior leaders don’t know how to win work or even do BD with clients (a lot are uncomfortable speaking with clients). The ongoing redundancy process was brutal for those who were removed, and for those who stayed, and was driven by a lack of proper forecasting and ignoring the obvious warning signs, as well as a lot of over hiring without certainty of work. There is currently a very strong undercurrent of unhappiness within the firm, and there is a lot of fake nicety and no transparency. Teams are siloed and are often doing the same work as other teams without knowing it. Most of the good management consultants have left due to lack of meaningful work, leaving a lot of senior engineers running things, with limited leadership and people skills. There are a huge amount of middle management with only a few people reporting to them, meaning a lot of people with a sense of entitlement but not much leadership ability. The size and slow pace of the business makes it very hard for things to change in a positive way with any pace. The business also really struggles to implement strategy.
