Thank you for your review. Per the instructions you were given in your onboarding / orientation, your emails to clients (your RECAP of how a call session went) was supposed to be done during your call session so that you were billing the client for that and being paid for it. We are very clear, during onboarding, that you should not be doing anything outside of your billable time to ensure that you are being paid for all of the time that you work. Working independently, from home, we are taking you at your word that you are completing the work you are reporting. If it appears that you are reporting work which has not actually been done, KEY STROKES are a way for us to track wether or not you were actually working. If KEY STROKES became part of a conversation with you, this would mean that you did not appear to be working during the time which you were reporting to us. Please understand that we need to be able to ask about this if something doesn't look right. That being said, we always pay for the time that you report - even if it looks like you weren't working. If we feel that we've paid for work that you did not do, we will address keystrokes with you. If you do not have a reasonable explanation for why it appears you did not work, we will pay you for your time BUT we will no longer be able to schedule work for you because our clients take notice of this. It sounds like this role really wasn't the best fit for you because you were not following the instructions we clearly laid out AND were not working the time you had reported. We're sorry that this did not work out for you but hope you understand why we need to hold our contractors to the standard that they follow instruction and work when they're saying they did. If you believe you owed money for work that you reported to us, please email joes@automaticappointments.com and we will look into this. Best of luck to you moving forward!

Pros

I began with Automatic Appointments because my husband is recovering from severe spinal inflammation that has made him a paraplegic since January 21, 2024. He requires someone with him 24/7 and the flexibility to work my own schedule and be there for him is truly a HUGE blessing. The culture at Automatic Appointments is so supportive...extensive training and resources are shared with contractors, and the work environment is relaxed but productive. I enjoy speaking with new people each day and helping local businesses connect with highly influential residents. If you are looking for flexibility, the ability to work your own schedule, and a nurturing, optimistic work environment, look no further! :)

Cons

None at all- I appreciate the opportunities to learn and grow each day and there are numerous resources available to help us succeed!
