Pros
none of the benefits compensated fairly of the emotional damage nor the market value of the job
Cons
- The work environment had nothing but negative impact on my mental health and overall well-being. Constant exposure to explicit content became emotionally exhausting and difficult to separate from your personal life, can’t say I did something meaningful when I finish my day while being paid so little - The company’s content affects motivation, creativity, dopamine receptors, sense of purpose over time. - Compensation did not is reflective of the demands and the emotional damage of the role - Extremely limited sense of growth, fulfillment, or meaningful contribution - Outdated work style and lack of modern working practices made the experience more frustrating - The company culture is disconnected from the impact the work has on employees, being surrounded by people who revolves and especially enjoys this type of content is very isolating, blurred lines when it comes to professionalism when you work in unethical business - I encourage people to consider the long-term effect this type of work may have before joining, don’t work here even if it’s for paying your bills, I would not even wish my worst enemy to work here
